Jamie did you get a chance to try the Lynx? I didn't but the guys that had it for 3 days said it was not groomed trail friendly. None of them would buy them cause it was more of a off trail sled.
We did a lot of switching our last ride between our own sleds and demo sleds. The Pro-S still had a little better ride in our opinions than the ridged tunnel sleds. That's by no means saying I'm disappointed in my VR1 it just the Pro-S being uncoupled didn't kick back as much. On the other...
That's what I normally do with my old sleds the problem this year is they already sold my old sled (2020) so I have to take it down tomorrow. I'm keep my 2021 sled so I know I'll have something to ride if deliveries get pushed back this year.
Nice
I'm working between VR1, XCR. Also looking at a 650 VR1 for my wife. Getting mix reports on the guys riding the Lynx today. Straight trail they prefer their own sleds a mix between Renegades and XRS's. Crossover mix some like the Lynx others like their own. Off trail the Lynx. Saying...
I need to go to Tennessee for a couple days and can't go with those guys when they have the sled. Curious what they have to say they're picking it up tomorrow and have to have it back Wendesday morning.
Jamie the Lynx have your interest for next year. Friend of mine will have one next Wednesday and taking it up Nth but I got work commitments and can't go.
The only issue I had with mine was the jumper wire harness for the temp sensor and Polaris has an updated harness/sensor that is one piece now. If the 2020's have issues you will get the new design under warranty. Still have the 2020 with 4400 miles and other than the sensor harness no issues.
I have the lower engagement and that's where I'm losing a little bit in midrange to the Ski-Doo's but so far I've been able to drive around them on top end. Had a 640 mile weekend last weekend that was nice.
I know you were looking for a smoother engagement and the 155 on the primary normally would go against that how is the engagement? Can see where that would help with the RPM to spool up
For your slide put them on a table saw and cut a groove down the center about .25 (6mm) deep the width of the blade. This packs with snow during normal riding and when the slides get hot melts and help lube them. On stock slides I always heat them with a propane torch and put them in a freezer...
