ok, i want mostly a drag set up for 1/4th mile but want respectable top end. i'd compromise for all 3 but drag racing is the priority.

i've been wondering about this. i'm going to need to change the gears on my ultra soon. i was thinking about betting the biggest bottom gear as deep as the chaincase will allow and get a smaller top gear. looking for a drag race fast trail and top speed set up.

on TM38's from an XCR 700? Also, what needle jets would be interchangeable with an 825 series? POS polaris made proprietary needle jets on many sleds.

ok, so i'm building a triple rack set from 4 polaris 600 carbs. one set is from a 600 ves small block, the other from a later model 600 probably 600 ho. the carbs are different because the newer carbs have an air circuit at the bottom of the carb bore with a brass air screw, and the older ones...

What kind of rivets are used to hold the bellypan to the bulkhead? and can i use a regular hand rivet gun?

should have kept your Ultra. the 97 SP was the best one they ever made.

I think muffler makers caught on to that and started making cans that don't lose hp these days, depends on who you go with I guess.

it is going to be a "Wedge" chassis, the aggressive, genII, and wedge are all pretty much the same. I'm doing it for a number of reasons, but the biggest one is the CRC front suspension upgrade. I'm using the wedge hood/bellypan from my XCR

113 in 660 is FYLING! maybe my sled will be that fast after it gets bored to 800

Mine is the Wedge, I am going with rack carbs and SLP domes so I'm hoping I can tune it on the edge. I am switching to the tank Aggressive, but am using all my Wedge parts and bellypan/hood so it isn't 560 pounds anymore. I am switching from a 96 XCR 600 non SP to a 97 SPX for CRC over the summer.

With SLP Powerdomes and soon PSI Modblasters I'm planning on putting a hurt on SRX's and F7's. I'm also curious about what would the over all top speed be? I think stock Wedge Storms with a track change are able to hit 110, and am guessing a piped Ultra would be a little more than that given...

Going to swap my 96 Ultra engine into a 97 Ultra SPX from a 96 XCR 600. I am doing so for the CRC upgrade, I will also be changing the aggressive hood and bellypan to Wedge and use all my XCR parts on the SPX. Also going to fix up my 98 XC 700 and maybe 97 SKS 700.
