Real world overdrive in Axys Chassis

Sounds like you have plan in place. The newer BMP weights are you best bet. just add tip weight until you lose rpm .then back off a gram. Go for the gearing of your choice .either will work.

Real world overdrive in Axys Chassis

I run 1.86 gearing and on good conditions 104-106 mph top end is all it has with full use of the clutch od. But remember trail cruising acceleration is awsome. Be sure and add a couple grams to your clutch weights.

" Clutching can make you a hero today and a zero tommorow " The guru will always improve a set up to there liking. The purchased kit is good buy for the average guy. Money buys speed and some just have more than others. Seat of the pants feel is the fun factor. You be the judge of what you want.

Personal Feedback from last winter Setup!!

Take a gram of weight out of the tip of your STM weights. As Brock said they are aggressive !

If your asking me , your above set up sounds good for a aggressive trail rider.

    Clutching advise...

The above post = * is his degree symbol. So I think he is saying a 44 straight angle helix or 46-42 which is also a 4 degree spread. Temperature reference is warmer temps which has a higher friction to it which causes drag on the sled.

Made a set of adjustable weights

If you look at the adjustable UTV weights EPI have they are very similar to SSI weights. Believe the snowmobile weights are similar to SSI weights also, which are a 10 series profile with a cut heel. Most likely both weights are made by SSI.

Personal Feedback from last winter Setup!!

Michael, Just give Speed Shop Inc a call at 507-263-2244, they will make you a helix with those angle and they ship to Canada. Reasonable cost for a custom cut helix.
