Jaws pipe w/heat shield, race can and North star clutch kit

It's like any clutch kit, it only works if it fits your needs. I like knowing what exactly I have and he doesn't share his helix numbers. I tried both the slots on his helix and stock felt better. I tried the 48/44 cut everyone raves about and stock felt better. I'm going give 50/44 a try soon...

It is heated, they wired it wrong but I just pulled the pin and moved it over to the correct slot. They give you a plug with a jumper wire to remove the throttle safety switch. I wear a tether so I'm not to concerned about it.

    Assault clutch tuning

Out of the gate I swapped the 2.0 for a 1.75 backcountry and 21/41 gears. Put a Jaws pipe wIth NSRICK'S clutch kit. It wouldn't pull the 68's to the RPM jaws recommended, it would with the 66 but so did stock. I wasn't happy with the jaws pipe and the stock one seemed to run better so I sold...

    Jaws pipe heatshield

150 plus 45 shipping. I put it on today and with a little massaging with the hammer and dolly it's a good fit. It will do its job no doubt, just thought it would of been a little cleaner look. I put an stainless zip tie on the muffler end.

The ceramic helps a bit but not like a fiberglass blanket.

    Jaws pipe heatshield

I tried that first, I couldn't get it to stay in place even using stainless zip ties and hose clamps. I spent hours wrapping it and making it look perfect. My pipe is ceramic coated so it's very slick.

Check your belt to sheave clearance

Spent the night in the shop with the Assault. I had to remove 35 thousandths shim to get down to 0.015. Pulled 0.060 from behind the secondary, man these things are not even close out of the box. Installed a Munster finger throttle and sled solutions brake lever. Also built a quick disconnect...

    Gearing Suggestions

I switched to a 1.75 backcountry and went 21/41 1.96 vs the 2.10 19/40. I really like it, stands right up and eats 850s in 660ft. I don't care to go 120mph. A solid 100 is good for me.

    Tunnel protectors

They are 1.86" tall, track has 300 miles on it and no issues so far. There is a few inches between top of track and the tunnel. I run the track a bit tight, 1/2" slack when track is relaxed.

    Tunnel protectors

I'm running 1.86 with a 1.75 track two down the center and no extra protection. No issues.
