Would be nice if the 7s had a page for fuel economy stats.
I think there is going to be a matryx like mountain sled but maybe different panels again, more light weight stuff.
Turbo 850 should be coming.
I was able to test my combination yesterday with jaw dropping results to say the least. I’ve been chasing the correct weight placement and figure I’ve nailed it. QAP4 weights with longest set screw hanging out the heels as far as I can without hitting the clutch. Dalton white green primary...
I'm at 662 miles on the Assault as of writing this. I have been actively analyzing the sled and making comparisons to what I have around me to judge the Assault by. The closest sled I currently have up North is a 2020 Backcountry 850. We also have 3 other Matryx Assaults to compare to each...
It’s been consistent since day one regardless of belt, spring or weight.
I’m going to order a stiffer secondary spring to try and wake it up a bit in the 60-80 mph range.
Yes with stock clutching my sled wanted to rev 8400-8500 rpm hence the clutch changes.
Im running the QAP4 fully loaded with 3-4 threads hanging out on the heels. Perfectly flat instant shift curve 8000-8100 every squeeze. -20 to 0*
Following up on this I’m at 650 miles now. The two assaults today both glitched. It’s got to be a software problem. I’ll explain what happens best I can.
Started sled in the shop this morning checked fuel type while warming up all good. Shut off to fill oil. Upon restart fuel type was...
I’m wondering how different the magnum force is vs the QAP4 they soil somewhat similar in profile to me and execution.
what weight range magnum force with a 120/290 spring?
For you guys with more P85 tuning experience than me maybe you can help me in a different way.
I’m considering maybe I should be also looking to shim the spider to get a smoother engagement. I remember shimming my turbo cat and it was night / day smoother engagement. Maybe this is the route...
Can I get a primary spring which would get me down to 3000 rpm or less engagement? I’m at about 3400 now.
I’d like to shim the spider too the engagement is too jerky. I want smooth.
I’ve been having this ongoing glitch in my gauge where once or twice a day the time will be off an hour and the fuel type changes on its own to ethanol mode.
So far I have tried updating the software
Unplugging the gauge
So far no fix.
So I put 4g in the tips and had rpm under control but speed was similar to stock. I then added additional heel weight with the screws hanging out a bit and picked up 4-5 mph and peak rpm / responsiveness never changed.
I dropped the Dalton Green in this aft and went riding. Works mint in terms of performance. I was hoping for a lower engagement but it didn’t really bring it down much. Went from a 150 to a 120 start.
I’d like to see around a 3000 rpm or lower engagement.
The new spring is a struggle for sure. I’ve found a 4-5 mph difference in the qap4 depending where the weight is. I have a 3/8 and 5/8 screw all the way in the tip and the shorter of the two longest screws in the heels hanging out as far as they can. I don’t have any tungsten here but I’m...
Lemon pledge. I buy the cheap 3 packs off Amazon. You will never go back to anything else. D’oh I just read your full post. Yes the plastic marks easily just like a doo.
I found that out lol. I was debating on getting the zrp front cover for it as well. I’m loving the quick response this thing just begs to be ripped on.
Funny you mentioned it my clock keeps getting the time screwed up. I set it and the damn thing keeps changing. I’m going to reflash the gauge software and see if that cures it.
My fuel type changed 3 times yesterday. It’s about a 50-100 rpm difference. I am loving the quick revving engine.
