Whats the easiest trick with the shop press to get the high rollers off the shaft. Because these run much narrower than what i am used to its tough to get any flat bars in.
Thanks

I have purchased a long slotted screw driver and carved a hook into the end. It seems to help. But i gotta say - there are still a few springs that have my head shaking. The Y pipe coming out of the block has a 3 springs and the lowest one looks tough to get at.

Anyone know a trick to reinstall the exhaust spring that is behind the disc caliper. Its easy to remove but to get the thing back on almost seems like you need another set of hands.
Thanks

Hi everyone,
Where is the best spot to get a puller for the p85 clutch found on a '19 Indy xc 600.
I am in Ontario - so Royal Distributing is the easiest to deal with - but i am not sure which puller is the correct one (a-i have never laid eyes on it so i dont know what it looks like, and b-...
I placed a Up North Technologies single position mounting rack on the back, it mounted into the t slots easily.
We have the linq system and can carry the ski doo 11 litre can, or a 3.8l rotopax. Works great.
Give Ken a call at Up North. He was a great help.

Should have put that in. They changed the body type in 19 (i believe) with a 129 on both xc and sp. Think i am going to point myself in that direction - 19 and newer.
MS
Should have put that in. 600
Its for a teenage girl that is 5'9" and about 120lbs.
Interested to know if the xc is sprung too tight for young adult riders and if the sp would be more suitable.

What’s everyone’s opinion on these two sleds. Aside from shocks what are the main differences and pros and cons
looking for a sled a teenage girl can run and also to have a secondary machine
Thanks

After challenging Polaris on the tank size and them sending me the specs, it looks like it is 37l.
We ran it this weekend out on Georgian Bay and rode from Penatanguishene up to Moon River Falls and back. Started with a chuck full tank, on a day that was 2 deg C, snow was a bit tacky. Tank...
We have managed to put a few tanks through the sled but haven't been able to really keep tabs on distance. Its been a poor winter with the trails not opening so we have been just doing local runs.
Looks like the tank is what they say it is - 37l. The guage on the cap is useless. It bottoms out...
We have an evo and placed them just below the windshield on each side. (On the black plastic). We paid no attention to ‘legal size requirements’ but rather we worked within the space that exists.
Ms
I actually called Polaris, they sent me the tank specs with all its dimensions and they swear it’s 38 l.
I need to get the sled out and run it to better asses to this. Based on the tanks shape, I can’t imagine it traps air. But it would only swallow a 20 l can. Will be back posting on this one
Ms
I am - or I should say - my two kids are the proud owner of a new Indy evo.
Saw this thread and have common ground here. The sled was delivered with barely enough fuel to get it in the garage. Lol. Putting that aside, when I filled it up it took just a little over 20 l. Book states clearly 38...
