    Stay away from terra alps

I agree doc. This is really the first time I've heard of issues with their products. Which sucks, but shit does happen. However, it sounds like the customer service needs some help. That is a problem, and they should have taken care of the issue.

    Exhaust Valve Cleanup

This method allows you to clean them without disassembling or cable removal, is what I assume you're getting at. ? I just rolled 550 miles on mine this weekend, got past the 18hr extra oil, so I'll be cleaning them this week. I kinda find it funny that the lifetime Polaris guys are somewhat...

Reliability Kit wich one to use

I ran RKTek in my pro. Pistons and head. He uses Wossner pistons, and lightweight wrist pins. I consider myself average mechanic, but I did measure and weigh everything. My cylinder was fairly low mile at the time of the swap, so it measured out good. The Wossner pistons out of the...

    Clutch Help

Lower gear ratio will produce lower top speed at a 1:1 ratio. But, I don't think it should have dropped that much.

    Clutch Help

The delrin washers go in the spring pockets on primary and secondary clutches. The help reduce spring catching on the aluminum and let it rotate freely. Less friction, smoother operation.

    Clutch alignment question

'17 assault. Got the alignment tool from ninja Plummer. Laid it in there, hitting secondary, Removed secondary and it has a .120 washer. So after some messing around and checking, .080" behind secondary is what I need to got the tool to sit against front of secondary. Providing...

Need more weight, what to use

That's pretty much what I figured. I'm just trying to avoid having to add/ subtract weight every time the weather or snow changes. Been down that road, and now that I'm 40 (sigh), I don't want to be tweaking at every stop. Dalton's on order. Thanks Brock n OutCast.

Need more weight, what to use

2017 assault, 1.35 cobra, studded. Aggressive trail, occasional race, , Many races from rolling starts on the straight away. Now that it's broke in, (13 hrs) it's banging 8,500 pretty easy. And, that was last weekend, wet heavy snow, 45-50 degrees. I assume on good snow and cold...

    Real World Test Results

That's a good ratio for an apex. That's about it. Might be OK if shooting for a specific run ( top end radar run) , but it will suffer in most any other conditions. I have been down thru all these gear swaps too. You're going to find the 1.74 Ratio to be the best all around setup...

top end refresh ... when is it time to do it

I always test mine from day one. If you wait for a problem to arise, you don't have a baseline to compare to. Mine, new was 121 both sides , on my gauge. 400 miles it's at 123 mag, 124 pto. My gauge may be little high or low, but I always use the same gauge. It's the baseline...

    Clutch Help

Sounds like my old pro r situation. Go back to stock, since that was quicker/faster. Change one thing at a time and test. At this point, you're looking at changing the sled to suit the kit you bought, when the stock setup works better.

    What part am I missing

I don't have RMK, but I do know that many guys unhook them, obviously someone did yours. It's there to keep the sled flat while cornering. With it unhooked, the sled will lean side to side easier. Makes the front suspension completely independent.
