    Jaws pipe. ?

Awesome stuff guys. Yes, Greg did say the additional power will increase WOT RPM to about 8400-8500. He is only recommending the ethanol mode on the 2016's since they were leaner than the 2015's. 2017's he will wait until production machines are released to make any changes, if it's even...

    Jaws pipe. ?

Hey guys, just resurrecting this thread from a few months ago. I'm getting the itch to add this pipe to my '16 since it seems to be the only one that I have read about that doesn't seem to lose power when the motor gets heat soaked and more importantly, is decently reliable. Awesome feedback...

    Jaws/RKTek dyno teaser vid

Hey Tom, would you recommend pumping out the old VES Synthetic in the oil tank and adding the new Poo oil or just mixing it in together? My thinking is that the 17's will still come from factory with the VES Synthetic in the oil tank.

17 Polaris changes they didn't mention

Hey corey.....spoke to my dealer today and he said not all 2016's are affected here. Depends on VIN #. Mine is not included in this bulletin, however, I still do have the warm start issues.

    TEAM Full Progressive Helix

Thanks Doc. My initial thoughts were that the 52-46 would be snappier on the trail versus the 50-44, but wasn't sure. I am very happy with my current set-up. Don't want to go backwards since I already have things dialed in pretty darn good.

    TEAM Full Progressive Helix

So, I'm well aware of the great all around advantages of the 50-44 versus the stock helix. However, is there really a performance difference jumping to a 52-46 from the 50-44? Pros/Cons?? I only ask because my helix is a dual angle with these two angles listed.

    More Air Flow

Cool, thanks for confirming. Dialing in what I already have seems to work best for me. Gearing and clutching compliment very well once the chassis/drive line is perfect.

    More Air Flow

Hey Doc....what's the final call on adding the SLP air intake kit to the 2016 800's where they are leaner by 3%? My application is a stock motor, stock exhaust, no PCV, 800. Considering adding this, but don't want to have to worry about adding fuel via PCV because the intake adds 57% more air.

    Stock Gearing Clarification

Had mine apart many times....22/37 (1.68) is what was in there from the factory. '16 SWB Pro X 800 w/1.352" Cobra. Brock, I believe only the RipSaw II equipped sleds came with the 23/37 (1.61) gearing despite what the owner's manual or online fisch states.

Bikeman stage 3 was happy until???

I place the Delrin washer UNDER the spring cup because I have seen instances where the leading edge of the spring actually digs into the Delrin washer over time when placed inside the spring cup. I suppose there is a possibility of the spring binding within the spring cup itself, however, I have...

    Installing Dual Ramp Helix

Guys, Just want to confirm when installing a dual ramp helix onto the roller plate, I want to use the ramp to the right or clockwise of the stamped number (50-44 F ER) on the face of the helix correct? I have two ramps on my helix, a 52-46 and the 50-44 and the ramps are not directly under the...

Un tucked my ssi pro mag weights

You're running 7 magnets Brock? I'm only running 6 magnets (2-1-3). I have stock motor, stock exhaust on '16 800. My total cam arm weight is roughly 70g each. I'd say anywhere between 4000-4500 for engagement RPM is perfect for fast trail riding. I do agree though, 4800+ is too high for the trail.

Un tucked my ssi pro mag weights

How many r's are added at engagement when you move one of the magnets from the heel to the tip....100?

Un tucked my ssi pro mag weights

Brock, I'm using 120-310 TEAM white primary spring and SSI's (2-1-3 set-up)....engagement is 4200-4400 all day long. Belt to sheave is .013" w/Gates belt. Primary well balanced by Indy Specialty. Gearing is 23/40. Am I doing something wrong here that I see lower engagement r's than you? And...

??? SSI PRO MAG ADJUSTABLE WEIGHTS ???

I have these weights installed, but I'm not targeting engagement less than 4200 so I can't answer for you Dave. As was stated prior, these weights are tucked at the heel more raising engagement RPM 200-500 RPM.

Can't pull rpm with the common setup

When I had my primary clutch machined and balanced, I picked up anywhere from 50-100 RPM. I compensated the gain by throwing some weight at the motor and it worked out perfectly. Otherwise, I'd be in that 68-70g range as well.

Looking for a 54/40 FP with ER

Sorry, that's a no. It seems these helixes are HOT right now. Had no idea I was lucky enough to land one back in October. 2-3 weeks seem like forever now that you got your targets set on having one. Good luck.
