Here are the gains I made since last year was two lengths behind the viper on the left. Bad camera angle on my buddies sled. But I'm the red Indy on the left.

Yes exactly. You would think the 10s would give ya 100+\- rpm more over the 11s.

Racerdave I think 8000 is the magic number for these 600. I will be testing setups tmw. Will report on my findings. Trying the 11s

98 xc 700 difference in motors?

The sled that we are setting up to race originally had the 824 cylinders. Original owner bought this motor with the 220 jugs, but it has the pink head not the red. Is there something different about these motors besides the jugs? I see the 97 rmk had the pink head. Any info is a help. Thanks

I have the gabes pretty well dialled in. Still got some work on the nsp setup. Was only able to test it once last year due to lack of snow. I think the nsp will outperform the gabes. I'll know more when there is snow.

    Indy 600 clutching

I was talking to another fellow sledder from Ontario, that did the Ssi pipe mod on his Indy 600. He claimed that he was running 8250-8300 before pipe mod. After running 8450-8500 rpm with same clutching. So making more power.

Nothing yet for me racerdave. I have nsp helix to try this year. Also Ssi pipe mod and bmp airflow shelf. Will be running afr gauge at first to make sure it's not too lean with stock mapping. Hopefully will see some improvements. I will run stock pipe a couple of runs, then switch to pipe mod to...
