Is the engine light coming on? What rpm is it cutting out?

Pinch fit worked for me all last winter. I drilled the top slot across and tightened till they pinched. Pretty sure that's the way the factory ones installed on my old d8. Did you take your rear flap off to install the protectors? I fought with them for quite a while, until I had them filed perfect.

What I did was was measure when you want your bolt hole and then drill your protector before putting it on.

Did you find you gained much? How many rpms did ha gain just putting the pipe mod on without touching your clutching?

Did you have the pipe mod on your fuse600?

This is my girlfriends 2005 xc sp 600

Stock gearing was 22-40 for 600. I went to a 22-41 a ratio of 1.86 I believe.
