Carbide suggestions for 144 studs on a 137"

Yikes. Berstroms are pricey. Already exceeded this years limit :( I can only find the 8 inch in the executive. I see the six-inch in the trail IV. Do you have a PN? Also, what are you guys using for shims on these skis ? I used to use an old piece of a belt but something tells me that's...

Carbide suggestions for 144 studs on a 137"

HI guys, Didn't see anything specific on this within the last year or so. Was just wondering what you guys have had good luck with as far as carbides for trail. Thanks!

    Bikeman-Polaris Axys 800 Owners!!!

As in : The Air/Fuel ratio could be set to "Top end is toast in 200 miles?" Yeah, I'm always skeptical of a dyno run brought to you by the seller. Not saying this is the case here, but you can get a dyno to say basically anything you want.

    Tools for christmas list :)

Morning guys, I plan on doing a lot more work/tuning/pm on my clutches from now on and was wondering what you guys with lots of clutch tuning experience find are must haves for clutch work. Maybe you could even be specific with what brand/model of clutch tools have you had good/bad luck with...

    belts for axys

Haha! No, I'm just easily confused on the subject, at least for now ;) Been doing a lot of reading over the last couple weeks. Good stuff because the more I read, the more I realized how many ponies I've left on the table over the years. Looking forward to getting a lot more familiar. :)

    belts for axys

Roger that, will do. I love the fact it's half the cost as well, gotta love when things work better AND cost less ;) Will be interested to see the difference if any as well.

    belts for axys

Good lord. Right when I think I start to understand around 10% of the black magic that is clutching and belts, I go and read a post like this. Lol. It's tough, there are a lot of videos out there and how a CVT system works, which I get from an overall level. But nothing that really shows the...

    Final verdict on tunnel protection

Heya guys, hope all is well. I was looking to get a final verdict on if tunnel protection is needed for the 137's. I see a lot of threads on the web about assaults. And there are a couple on the SB, but they seemed a bit too indecisive for my liking :) I'm running extreme max 1.52's. Thanks...

Clutch kit, who claims theirs is best?

Anyone have experience with the trail kit from Indy Dan? I like the fact both clutches are balanced. That certainly has to have a positive effect on the rest of the sled. And other than popping the clutches off and on, all the work is done for you as (near as I can tell).
