2017 Assualt owners a ? for trail users.

Spent 2.5 days in Quebec breaking in and tweaking the sled. Ended up with snow conditions adding a full turn on FTS and a turn on IFS. Clickers all still at 1 from soft. Trail ride really good, was pushed some by a Doo XRS but still didn't hold him up any. Pushed in a few tight corners but...

    2017 800 assault is a dud

Give it time. Mine was low also until yesterday. Just hit 300 mi. I got a feeling that it's hours related though. My neighbor has same sled, last weekend he was hitting top rpms, I was not. He had less miles but more hours, yesterday I was hitting 8350 consistently and quickly.

Took secondary off, (2) .120 shims behind, removed one and now I have about .120 of clearance from tool. Now for float do...

2017 Assualt owners a ? for trail users.

Got 200 miles on mine now. Last 100 miles was after the last dump we had in NNY of 36". My previous sled was a 12 Pro R Switch. I absolutely love this sled. On or off trail it handles great. Mid range is pull the bars out of your hands and make sure your pointed the right way when you put the...

    Primary Spring

So what rate is a stock primary spring. Manual says 120/310 dealer say his book says 100/275. He is contacting Polaris to be sure. The spring is gold though so that would make it a 100/275 correct and I can assume owners manual is wrong?
