If you are mounting it on the hood portion there is a spare plug for that purpose in the wiring loom. Should be right around the headlight. I have heard some locating a USB or cig plug type outlet either on the face of the hood (much like where the key is on the right, but on the left) or inside the windshield storage compartment. If I was planning on having a cell charger I would consider that area in that compartment - especially if you have the heated bag. I just purchase a portable power brick and carry that with me in my jacket, or on the sled someplace. It has worked well enough I never went any further with the plug in option.

I used a SAE to USB adapter and plugged into an unused 12v SAE plug by the headlight. Plugged my charger cord into the adapter and routed the cord into my windshield bag. Works great.
