2014 Polaris 800 switchback pro r fuel sending unit not reading properly

I need some help my tank is full but the gauge is reading 1/2 tank. Replace sock and filter in tank as well as plastic float
Cleaned the Electronic sending unit that is attached the float rod and cleaned the copper fingers. Still not reading properly
Does anyone have any tricks or the part no # for the level sending unit. They want to sell the whole pump assembly @ $800 canadian totally nuts

The fuel gauge/ sending unit, not sure which one is the culprit , I never even look at it anymore. The only fix I know is hit a gas station whenever you are getting to the 100 mile range. It's a shame for what you pay for these that an old float on the tank cap works better.
