2015 600 LXT tunnel protection

i bought my wife a like new 2015 LXT and had the dealer stud the track before delivery. Got it home and discovered there are no tunnel protectors, nor does Polaris offer any. I don’t want to chance tearing up the tunnel. Has anyone been through this or have any input/advice?

They should make tunnel protection mandatory on sleds.

I bought a used sled in the early 00's and there was a hole in the heat exchanger.

It was a real bitch to fix, had to remove it and get it tig welded.

They should use polyurethane covers over them or put them out of harms way~!
