I know this has been asked many times but I need some help with my head lights and tail light flickering. It has been at the dealer for a week and they cannot find anything wrong. Polaris will not warranty anything due to everything tests fine. Any recommendations on how I should proceed?
I have a trip planned in Canada in a few week and my lights not working correctly is a major concern.

Flickering at idle ? Or flickering while under throttle ? Or beyond flickering even under throttle like a disco ball.

Often there is a capasitor issue. If the condition is obvious than Polaris will certainly pay to fix it as long as it's under warranty. If there is a clear issue they don't just say oh you have an issue but everything tests ok so we're done with it and Polaris won't pay warranty ? Is the dealer able to see the issue your talking about ?

? Sorry I'm not understanding I guess. Let me start again . Can the dealer observe the issue you have it there for ?if the answer is yes, and it is under warranty than they have to fix it. If all components test ok than perhaps they should ck. Wiring. If they still question a component then it is up to dealer to come up with a test part. Polaris won't just let the dealer throw th ekitch sink at it .but It's still on dealer to take all necessary steps to diagnos the problem. For example "if " they think it was a capastor issue they should put one in and if for some reason it didn't fix it th n put yours back in. If it did fix it then they bill Polaris under warranty.

The dealer cannot get the lights to flicker. It only seems to happen after I ride it for a while. I understand the dealers dilemma with any electrical problem as I work in a heavy equipment shop and we deal with the same problems.

Hearing that issue before it has been capacitors or relays, or both.

I had this happen on mine and it turned out to be my visor cord was no good. Would only happen after about 30 mins or so. My idd guage was fine but head and tail light was like a strobe light. I guess it was just a small strain on the electrical system with the cord shorting out. New cord and problems gone.
