They made some changes to the 800 mill and nothing to the 600. The 2018 800s are getting a new thermostat, that you already know uses a new head. Top and bottom piston rings are now the same thickness. The engineers told me they switched due to a manufacturing issue, supposedly the manu. had a hard time keeping the coating on the 1.4mm rings and no issues with the 1.8mm. They added a check valve to the crankcase for the oiling of the water pump gear. The way I was explained that is now with the check valve, once the gear is satisfied with oil the valve will close then the oil will flow elsewhere. I asked about fuel mapping, their response is they're always tweaking mapping to make it better but should be similar to the 17's. We had some reed failures on a couple 17's and supposedly that was due to tolerance issues with the reed cage and they have corrected that problem. I can't remember if there's anything else. No new gauges, no new features, no new suspension. Their big focus this year was the Titan so a lot of their effort went into that sled for 2018. There's gonna be some new stuff for 2019.
