Hello. I’m hoping for some advice info on the bogey wheels on an old sled I have. I picked this sled up years ago and really haven’t spent a lot of time on it. It’s just been an old extra sled for people to ride. I have a newer pro I ride and my wife has almost this same exact 2004 vertical edge only in an 151. This sled has just sat for about six years. I dumped the old gas out and put some new plugs in it and got it running yesterday. It has an old billet big wheel set up someone put on it but the rubber has mostly come off all of the wheels. It’s starting to tear up the track. Only the big rear wheels have any rubber/plastic left and it appears that’s what is starting to cut the belt. Would all of the wheels have had rubber/plastic? All of the original wheels on hers have rubber on them so I’m assuming they did. Was there more involved when they put the big wheel kit on than just changing out the wheels? I see the small wheels are smaller than stock and just the two rears are larger. Just wondering what would be needed to replace everything.

Judging by this symbol machined into the supports, its an old Holz racing setup. Doesn't appear they are around anymore. I agree that you should swap it all back to something with rubber as the bare aluminum is just going to wear the track. Hard to say whats different about them vs the stock plastic setup without seeing them side by side.

Thank you for the reply. Here are a few pics of the bone stock 151 I have. I guess I don't understand how the wheels can mount in the same place (the front bogeys) if they are of a different diameter. Maybe that rubber was large enough to make them the same diameter. Any recommendation on where to look for some stock wheels for a sled that old?

I wouldn't worry about the front wheels as much, you can even see in your pic that the rubber wheel pushes down more on the track.
The bigger problem is that the rear wheels are an entire different assembly to raise the wheel centerline, that explains the upright support with the HRP logo. So you would have to locate all those parts too.
You are honestly probably better off trying to find an entire used skid, the cost of those wheels alone has gotten nuts. Keep an eye on Craiglist, FB Marketplace or ebay for someone parting out a sled. Theres also the sled salvage yards like Als or Hudons out here in the east, not sure if theres anyone out on the west coast.

Thank you. Good info and I appreciate it.
