Ok so did you put Zny weight in it? Did you ever try the stock gear(1.68)?
Bought a 2015 rush 800 need more performance out of it

No just 68 EPI weights and the rpm is at 8200-8300. I geared it 1.74 right out if the crate. But with gaining on him in the top end do you think the 1.68 is better?

I like the 1.68 gear if you're not a heavy guy I would go up and wait in the primary those are both good gear ratios I have the 174 in my Pro X with a cobra track but my primary was machine for overdrive with the gates belt the idea is to have better acceleration and still have good top then because the belt will ride further out of the primary clutch
