Got the alignment tool from ninja Plummer.

Laid it in there, hitting secondary,

Removed secondary and it has a .120 washer.

So after some messing around and checking, .080" behind secondary is what I need to got the tool to sit against front of secondary.
Providing zero float inwards.

I've read as much as I can about alignment, and Brock says minimum of .080", but later says minimum of .100" behind secondary.

Am I good with .080" behind and tool touching, then shim bolt to get .120" ??

I just took out my 0.12" washer and put a 0.06" washer in................when I had my secondary opened up I rotated it several times and could not feel the secondary hitting anything...........there is a few on hcs that have only the 0.06" washer in place and have not heard of those hitting the bulkhead..........

You can do 0.080 washer only behind secondary as I've said yes. I'd rather guys be safe so I've been saying 0.100" washer .
