cylinder needs to be redone and some welding . Good thing I have a few of them . It's summer, so time to do the mods

Crack between finger port and main exhaust port?

Brock, do you port your own cylinders or do you send them out?.
Why do you think it cracked?. Heat and opening the ports up?.

This cylinder was ported for me . It's thin in that area as you can see . Cv tech is fixing this. Not usual in the Polaris, but it's been ported. The 800 e tecs are even thinner from exhaust to transfer and they fix them .

Does a crack like this cause a burn down or other running symptoms?

The crack would have caught the ring and you know the results of that .

It's the price we pay for mods, porting and heat influencing.
