Do most durability kit with the spacer use cat 800ho pistons. ?????

Alot of kits do use the Spacer yes. But theres mixed reviews if its necessary or not. And its not that they all use Cat pistons. Certain shops use pistons they designed or other brands they feel are superior to another brand. It creates more volume and which should create more HP. Just be sure to use the same supplier, dont mix one set of pistons with another suppliers shim.

I have spacer and Sno-X Cat pistons, 5000 miles and loving it.
are these cat oem pistons ? if so do you have a part # or where you got them. Do you recall the spacer thickness? thanks

And don't forget that to compensate for the cylinders being raised that the wrist pin hole is lowered the same distance in the piston as the cylinder is raised to keep the compression the same resulting in the piston rocking in the bore more resulting in it wearing out quicker. The closer that the wrist pin hole is to the top of the piston the less rocking in the bore resulting in a longer life. Div20
