We don't just go to the dyno to see HP and torque. It's about figuring out what's going on to improve also. This image shows the digital wrench we look at and record while testing.
Lots values can be added to screen but we choose these.

This shows a split second of timing being backed out that never would be seen on your gauge or go into det mode .
The gauge never displayed det on this run and would be hard to detect in the field too.
The dyno showed lots though. This was a pipe not agreeing with motor no matter what fuel or timing changed .

Brock, so this is a stock motor your trying a pipe on or a mod motor?. If you can say, what brand pipe isn't agreeing with the motor?.
 
It's the iantomassi 840.

The bmp pipe doesn't work , but the jaws works flawlessly with the stock 800 and 840 stroker .

This was more for people to see what happens when the learning ecu doesn't like something.
