My son and I fixed up a given to us indy sport 440 fan. It's running great but battling an exhaust leak? oil sludge coming out from under the exhaust side engine tin and making a mess on the clutch cover airbox etc. We replaced the exhaust gaskets with good cometic us made which did help a slight bit. Still making a big mess on clutch side of engine. Any ideas? Thanks.

Could it be just left over, clean up with contact cleaner?

Thanks, Could you verify the oil pump adjusting procedure for me? According to the Polaris manual for 1994 it only mentions that the marks have to line up at idle? If adjust the pump so it lines up at idle they will not line up at WOT and vise versa because the pump arm has two lines one it. Hope that makes sense. I made sure to sync and set idle before oil pump.
