Gates Belt

Comming off a Viper… It was highly recommended to switch from the OEM belt to a gates carbon fiber belt for the following reasons:

• Exceptional Reducuction in Belt Dust
• Increased Drive Engagement
• Increased Belt Life
• Easier Clean Up In the Event of Belt Failure

I currently own a 2020 Indy XC 600 and have snowchecked a 2021 Indy VR1 850. Has anyone tried the gates belt (or any other aftermarket belt) on the 600 Cleanfire or 850 Patriot engines?

Stick with the Polaris belt. I broke mine in with a Gates belt. The rpm was all over the place. I found the Polaris belt to last longer and be more consistent in rpm.
