I'm currently running 38/22(1.73) on my ProX with a studded 1.325 Cobra track.
  • 10-68 weights
  • 120/310 primary
  • 140/220 secondary
  • Northstar Helix
Sled runs pretty good but I was looking to give up top end for a quicker sled. Looking at running 38/21(1.81). Anyone tried this setup? Any clutching changes necessary?

Best thing u can do is?

Ditch the tss-04 and get a P2 or tied.
It's like night and day difference . No comparison!!
The upshift and backshift is way better , plus less friction, less heat = longer belt life .

The 1.81 ratio does work good. You'll have to load clutches more cuz of this though .

What spriing ,helix, and weight combo works well with this gearing? I don't know the helix angle on my current
