Hi everyone,
I have a 2001 Polaris XC 500 that I bought used and had a ton of fun with this year. I decided to paint a top section of this hood piece that was scratched up from silver color to yellow color and LOVED IT!! Then to make a long story short, that piece broke. It was held on with 4 metal rivets (one in each corner) that I drilled to remove because it was broken. It looks to be plastic. Nothing printed on it or etched on it. I have looked high and low with no success. All the hood diagrams from this year and a few years older and newer doesn't show this piece. Not sure if it was added on by someone or what the deal is. Tried contacting previous seller with no success. Would anyone have any suggestions on where or who I can get this piece from. Please please please help. Thanks everyone. I have attached a photo.
