Idle RPM

Looking to see what other AXYS 800 sleds idle at.

My sled when cold will start and idle at 1550 to 1700 RPMs. Once it's warmed up and I go for a ride my sled will idle at 1900 to 2000 RPMs. My buddy has the same sled as mine. His will start and idle at 1600 to 1700 RPMs. After his is warmed up and goes for a ride it will idle at 1800 to 1850.

I've heard that with the SLP can they idle higher??

I took the SLP can off and it's still the same thing sooooo it wasn't the can.

Just a thought here....check the deflection of your belt. Too tight will idle low. Too lose, it will idle high. Polaris specs say idle RPM @ 1700 +/- 200.

Every sled is a little different, mine will start out at 1600 or so for 30 seconds then jump up 2 1800 or so, weather plays apart in it also
