1999 SKS 700
Hi. New guy here. Bought a 1999 SKS, 700, non VES and did the top end. Broke it in with dino oil and now running Polaris VES synth oil but have seen some posts that have me thinking that Polaris blue might be better in my older sled, thoughts on that? I'm on my second tank of VES and it's running great. Just don't want to burn it up before it's time. Not trying to start a big oil debate, thanks.

I'd stick to a high quality synthetic myself vs Polaris Blue just for the much improved fluidity of the oil during a cold start, especially in your climate. Most wear happens when engines are cold, been running my 00 700 on synthetic since right after break in when it was new, no regrets.
Thats my .02 cents

That's what I was thinking too 850Switchback, thanks!
