I had a small oil leak over the summer and decided to change the oil line to the pump as I had to take the tank of anyway's, Started it up and everything seemed OK. Now while it's sitting there the belly pan is full of oil, I cleaned the oil up last night and then clamped the oil line from the tank to the pump and no more oil in the belly pan. Seem's I have oil pump issues?? I'm going to pull the pump of tonite, what should I look for?? thks

If you have a oil pump leak in the seal facing the motor you wouldn't know, it would leak internally in the engine. Sounds like a connection on a oil line or the grommet in the bottom of the oil tank is leaking.

Anybody have a picture of a polaris 500 2005 carburetor setup to see where the vacuum lines go, getting old, foggy memory, thanks

The vent lines attach to the carb location in the picture, then to the two nipples on the front of the airbox above carb inlets.

Problem fixed, pulled motor out and discovered small crack in the oil pump, replaced it and changed all hose's while it was out, now waiting for the snow.
