Look at the digital wrench screen while on dyno. We put the values we want to read while testing .

Mag and pto base ignition timing is the "desired timing"
Mag and pto ignition timing is actual "timing"

To make the sophisticated learning ecu get the actual timing to the desired timing it needs heat in the pipe to do this . Look at pipe heat in both screens

Just something to share and to let you guys k of the extensive testing we do
 
my egts will read 675C everyday and on a nice cold day WOT run i've seen 700C.

Is this a stock probe with stock bung placement in an axys 800 ho ??
What make is the gauge ?
 
'12 800 stock pipe, quick respond probes

it's from the sensor connection and the model is

DPD-egt/egt1 or something

Thought so because you'd never get those hot of readings in a stock location

Tried this on dyno and it did raise pipe temps up about 100-150 degrees.

Got something getting tested on a stock 800 next week different from this. I'll keep everyone posted
