Trying to figure this out. Seems no matter how much I adjust the belt deflection (tight/loose), the track and secondary still spin ridiculously fast at idle with rear end suspended in air on Assault 144 w/1.352" Cobra.

Track has 1/2" of freehang, clutches properly aligned, chaincase is good and no squealing from primary. I'm running the TEAM Tied w/Gates belt. Could the belt be too short or is there something else causing the issue here??

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Did you have drive clutch shimmed for the gates belt. Belt is much wider than polaris belt.

Yep. However, I think the belt to sheave might be too tight grabbing the belt pulling it around. Or the primary could be stuck. Either way, I think the issue is with the front clutch.
