Has anyone fabricated any scratchers for the axys yet? If so could you post some pics of them and some info of where to mount and cost, thanks guys.

I have some plates that fit into a window on the slides. They are made by a member of HCS. I can pm you his info if you want, or go there and look for the thread on the AXYS board.

Thanks Dave I would appreciate if you pm me his info. That's what I was looking for, no drilling. So how did you get the plates to stay? What's the chances of them coming out?

There are actually 4 plates. They sandwich the rail. One on outside on on inside. I will use Dura Flex scratchers. Check your message here.

Have to watch. I had some but don't fit my 2017 assault

I never used scratchers and started to make a set last year using the ski bolt. Seems the debris would get under the sliders better coming from the front. Do these rail scratchers work ok??

Funny thing, started off with my brand new '16 800 Rush on virtually glare ice trails, sled is studded. Never once did it run too hot nor did the sliders appear too dry. I was fully expecting it to run too hot, especially given it had zero miles on the clock. Ran nearly 150 miles that day, approx same miles the following weekend on even more ice.
Up till then, was assuming it was going to need scratchers.

Yeah I'm gonna try it out this season and see how it goes.
