2019 XC 129 800
Hey all, I just purchased a leftover 2019 Indy XC 129" 800 w/pidd. Anything I should be on the lookout for? I have been a Skidoo guy for quite some time now, but needed to change because I feel their sleds have gotten much cheaper made recently. Cheers!

The rear shock adjustment knobs were falling off on them I would lock tight them on.

A lot of them had warped rotors

I would go over chain case adjustment and oil level, belt deflection, track tension. Make sure the shock preloads and compression settings are all correct and set to factory specifications. All of it is in manual.

Sold my Viper last week, will spring check a new 850 XC or XCR if available. Looking forward to something new for me. My time will be spend on this site mostly now so lets get it going strong...

Did they come with warped rotors or does it eventually happen? Also does the warped rotor cause the brake lever to come closer to the bar? My buddy's XCR I can pull the brake lever with my index finger and the lever won't even come close to my fingers but my lever touches my fingers and the brakes don't slow the sled down as good as my buddy's sled. Thanks.

I thought I recall reading the XCR has a better brake and easier lever. I'd have to check spec again

Welcome! I just bought the same sled but with the std gauge! I went through everything mentioned and put on almost 500 miles on it last weekend. The front end feels great once I reduced the darting by giving the front track shock spring a few cranks, but I need to spend some time playing with the rear suspension. Love my yamahas but wanted to try something more light and playful.

The XCR rotor is made to tighter tolerance and uses type 81 brake pads stops with little effort. GO BLUE
