Hello All. I was looking for tricks to apply to the handlebar to help the grips stick without using glue. I just replaced my right side heater and the glue makes a mess if you want to ever change the grips out. That's how I ended up having to change my heater due to cutting it somehow when trying to remove the old grips. Want something that will work well without the mess. Any tips are appreciated.
Thanks

Hair spray and air is the way I do it.

Thanks, I did try this after doing a search on Youtube as well. Seems to have worked so far, haven't been able to test it out yet. No snow here yet in Northwest Pa.

It should work pretty good, usually the hairspray will soften them up and make it slippery and then the hairspray get sticky just like in a women's hair..LOL

I used air to remove and air to re install, no glue.
Tried after reading someone else's post about how slick it works (ok so looked for a better way after trying glue n damaging heaters in the past). Cuts down on 99.9% of the usual swearing it use to involve.

Thanks for the input. I ended up using hairspray and it has worked well so far. I understand the swearing when it comes to other projects for sure. :)
