Stud Advise - Rush 600

Looking to add studs to my Rush 600 short track (120). Wondering about how many and how long? I do 100 % trail riding and I’m looking for a nice performance level of studs. Was thinking 2 per row or 84. Don’t want to over stud and have steering issues, just want traction. Also was leaning toward Woodys Gold Diggers.

Thoughts? Experience, suggestions...

I put 2ea per row(woody's gold digger) on the XCR 600 and XCR 800. I believe that ends up being 96ea.
I do all my riding in Wisconsin and no problems with steering using 6" carbides. I don't know which track you
have so I can't recommend a length. I use woody's website to get the suggested part numbers and then start
shopping on ebay. For some reason I always seem to find that some powersports down south has them in stock
for a great price.

I have 1.25 lugs on a cobra track. I too used Woody's to run some estimates. They suggest 1325 series Gold Diggers. I think that give me 3/8 stud depth above the lug. On a 120 track 2 per row = 84. I think I will start with 84 and if I need more they suggest to add 2 more on every other bar on the outside to increase total studs to 126...

You are happy with grip of 84?

Hmmm. Cobra track is 1.35" 2 per row on mine and that is plenty. On hard pack it will hook up and point the skis
to the sky. I checked the woodys website and if you check pro-s its 84ea and if you check xcr it's 96ea. Weird as they
should both be 120" but the XCR has different drivers so I think that's the difference cause I know I installed 96.

Do you have a pro-s?

Yes - AXYS 600 Pro-S Rush 120 track with 1.25 lug. Could your XCR be a 129 long track which would make sense on the 96 studs then.

No 129 in a rush chassis. I did a little digging. The XCR uses a 121" track and the Pro-S uses a 120" track according to the CAMSO site. Makes
sense now why I have 2ea per row for 96ea. I have 2ea of them so you would think I would've known!

Does this sled come stock with tunnel protection for studs? Under the tunnel I see two bars that I think is tunnel protection. I assume if you bottom out the track rubs on those bars preventing the studs from catching. Am I correct?
