2016 800 HO is fuel injected. Reflash would probably be your option, although the reflash was more for restarting a warm engine because they would sometimes run to rich when you would try to start the sled again.
I rode a 88 Indy 650 for years that was stock and it was trouble free and very reliable. I can't say that about my 86 Indy 600 that took pistons out often.
Thanks for your input and spring suggestion, I can do that. So when you say load the heel. Do I run the 1 inch screw in till it bottoms against the tip weight I add or stop short of touching? If I stop short how do you know that all 3 weights are set equal for heel weight depth? Sorry adjustable...

Great thank you for your reply.... I have always run factory belts and didn't want to order the wrong one. Have you found anyplace that sells them for a good cost. Although compared to the factory belt they are all probably cheap. Lol
Thanks racerdace! I'm definitely interested in the weights and I appreciate your reply. I will probably order a 40t sprocket since I have a 70 pitch chain already that come out of my XCR 800.
I'm guessing the 48/44 helix would offer better backshifting and the 50/44 would work a little better...
