I don't have any experience with the 800 doing this but I can tell you for a fact the 850 looses a noticeable amount of power when running in the nonpremium mode.
My exact build was a ghost grey / squeeze assault with 1.325" track , electric start. I am disappointed as I was really looking forward to it. I guess that gives them a year to build what I really want the Assault boost! I have a 22 turbo freeride I am going to make into an assault.
22...
Well gentlemen I got the email last evening that my Sled will not arrive until February. Unfortunately that is unacceptable for me as by then the machine should come as a 2023. Kind of disappointed as I was hoping to rock another Assault this season. Oh well I have another project I'll be...
How is everyone's summer going? Anyone have clutching plans for this upcoming season? I am really excited to get my 2022 Assault and start playing with it. I'll be sticking to my Gboost / clutch kit combo I was messing with last season. Maybe I can improve a bit more on it.
I did get to ride it we had it for an entire weekend. I had one on order until I got the demo on it. I didn't care for the sled to be honest. I ended up ordering a Freeride turbo I am going to convert to a 42" wide 146" sled and see how that works against my 22 Assault.
One more little ride to an ice fishing spot tomorrow and the riding will be done for me here in Ontario. Rolled just over 3,500 miles today. That’s about the lowest year for me since about 2009.
Was making a top speed run down the lake and absolute fastest my sled has gone all season and go...
I bought mine direct from Gboost. Not sure if anyone in Ontario is carrying the Polaris one? I know Turbodynamics is a dealer but I would imagine they only sell sidewinder belts.
I forgot to update this after last weekend. I removed my Gboost belt to put some miles on the Ultimax XS 811. It unfortunately lasted one day and exploded. I wasn't easy on it but wasn't any different on it than the Gboost. Overall performance felt the same as the Gboost and I was happy with...
I finally brought my sled home to service the shocks on it. I have not brought it home since December which is rare for me to not be tinkering all the time but in truth the sled just hasn't needed much attention.
Anyways the WE velocity shocks have to be the most simple shocks to freshen up I...
This past weekend we logged 330 miles of riding all trails. Very little off trail we don't have a lot of snow left to play in. The temps warmed up to around 0* and my RPM was still bang on the money at 8150-8250 every single squeeze. I can not confidently say that this clutching gets it done...
Stayed at Le Notanda last night. No trouble getting into the bar / restaurant Le Cellier. Checked our ID’s at the door and sat us no problem. We were there around 6-8.
Trails are excellent but thin on snow. We desperately need snow or the season isn’t going to last a lot longer up here.
We...
I have been riding with 5 matryx this winter ALL of them change fuel type on their own without any indication why. Stock or clutched it does not matter.
No indication on the gauge the only way you notice is lack of performance which is very noticeable.
He's obsessed with carving his sled and determined to learn it this season. He is still a bit little for the machine but he's figuring out his balance really well now. Monkey see monkey doo at this point. I have to watch myself and what I do around him now because he tries to ride everything...
