So thats normally a thru shaft, with aluminum spacers, into the lower shock mount with bolts holding it on each side to the rails. Not sure exactly what someone did there with that old wear rod, and why, but it looks from the pictures that the rod is still welded to a bolt possibly. So you're...
You'd probably have to shop used at that point, unless you can call around and miraculously find a dealer with one on the shelf.
Al's or Hudons would be a good place to start looking for used.
Just goes to show you not all dealers are created equal, talk about a variation in knowledge.
The online directions looked pretty straightforward, they just weren't updated to show the required additional part #s for a newer machine.
At least you found a dealer that knew what he was talking about.
You can look up what accessories fit on Polaris website (see below). You just have to enter the model into the pull down menus and it filters the product that fits.
Looks like there are 2 seats available but both require you to buy a different rear rack since it becomes the seat support. You...
Check out the Parts Unlimited catalog below, Kimpex might make replacement rear shocks for that sled. I doubt that Super Sport had rebuildable shocks from the factory.

Yes, its in a wiring bundle where the steering post meets the top of the frame.
Look at the instructions in the link below for the RCA power jack, they have some pictures in there indicating where it is.

I've heard that the repair kits are trickling in slowly, also right now they can only order parts for VIN's that they sold ( or have in stock) at their dealership. They need a VIN to get a kit and there is a whole documentation process (photos, etc)that must be submitted to Polaris.
Supposedly...
Pick up a service manual, it'll walk you right thru it. You are going to need it for the specs for the pickup gap when you install the new one anyway.
I linked a used one from EBAY below.
A special puller is required to remove the flywheel, the part# will be in the manual...
The only number I've seen thrown around in any official release is 233k, which they have to be truthful about or else be in trouble with the SEC since they are a publicly traded entity. I'm also willing to bet at least 10% of those don't even exist any more ( totaled, parted out, etc).
I can't...
They will actuate them and flow test as well as part of the cleaning to make sure they are still good.
Guaranteed the spray pattern is screwed up and thats why you are having idling issues, the ecm cant compensate enough to maintain idle.
Pull the injectors and have them professionally cleaned if they were that screwed up.
InjectorRx in Texas is one place that has the equipment & wiring harness to do the Polaris injectors, they get $18 per injector plus your shipping to get them there.
Much cheaper than doing a top end if you...
Only thing I'm seeing thrown around elsewhere is dealers being told to block out 1hr to 90 minute timeslots for the repair and that it will apparently be released the end of the month.
The are likely building up an inventory of fix-it kits and fixing the ones on the assembly line first to keep...
Yeah that doesn't look like a fun repair, but that one's still way too new to not be doing it right.
Isn't there an age limit to equipment before you can be applying bush fixes? lmao
