Can't pull rpm with the common setup

Dr you run stock spring with 67g and turn 8400 ?? Does the pipe mod help get the rpm up? I ran 65g with 120-310, 50-44 155/222 and got 8250-8300 but not getting to top of primary. For me its trial and error as I have never done clutching. Will a 120-340 allow me to run more weight? And go with...

Can't pull rpm with the common setup

On this site, I have this set up but seems im the only one with cutler turbo mag weights. At 65 g (nothing in the hole) it has a real good holeshot. Runs way better than stock.

Can't pull rpm with the common setup

I see it, series 10. I have the same set up except 50/44 w/140/200 and cutler tm weights. Thing rips, lot of track spin in the trails, switched to 155/222 and stopped the spin. Turns 8250 8300 with the 155/222. Was quicker (by seat) with 140/200 so im gonna try 140/220. I was gonna modify my...

Those weights look bad ass, they have 5 holes for magnets, 2 for the tip which is where we need it. Only downfall they are $240

    Clutching and gearing

Cutler claims the tm weights act 5g heavier so buy them according. At 65g I turn 8250-8300, as I add I loose rpm. The sled rips, my suspension is per book. On click 7-9 it stands up straight, on 4-5 it takes off good but a bit more spin. I was looking to get more weight to get full shift out...

These are the same as daltons, I had 2g and turned 8-8100, switched to .82 and gained, removed them so just running 65g with no added weights and got 8250-8300.

When I add weight I loose rpm, to gain rpm wouldn't a stiffer spring work allowing me to use more weight?

    Clutching and gearing

Ok, I'm a light 1/4" from top. I have 1.74 ratio, 120-310 w/cutler tm @ 65g, 54-40f w/155/222 and gates belt. I had a 140-200 but had a lot of track spin. Gonna try 140-220. What do I need to do to get to the top of primary??

    Clutching and gearing

Hey Nick, I put the same set up in my 15 with 140-200 and used cutler tm weights at around 68g (they act 5g higher). Thing would stand up on end with clicker on 7-9, change clicker to 4 and would launch better. Spins a lot, imo. Doc recommended going 155-222 so I switched. Hoping to go this...
