I know when I put a tape measure by the bolt on the spindle that holds ski on and push back and forth with the ski in the direction of from bumper to bumper I get about 3/16 movement. You can see the top A arm moving because of slop in bushing. I got some new bushing Ill have to take the old...
I did the procedure in the book of loosening the four bolts and pushing in on the mounts doesn't seem to help there seems to be a lot of movement of the spindle when you push up and down on the ski is this normal? unless I'm doing something wrong seems like a lot of slop for 600 miles . Anyone...
First sled with fuel injection allway's used sta-bil in old sled and drained carburetors. Polaris sells carbon clean says it cleans fuel system with stabilizer in it. Does anyone used this is it better or just personal preference. Thanks Keith
I notice its electric start the starter has a spring that when the motor starts it pulls it out off the ring gear. With the motor off see if you can pull out on the starter gear when you let go it should snap back if spring broke it will let starter gear move in and out. The sound its making...
I appreciate your advice. Team makes a 58/42.46-58/44.46 helix I understand what you're saying about the 42 finish angle not going to gain anything there. I think I'm going to try that helix out with the stock spring see how lt runs on the 44 finish angle. If I don't like it. I can change to...
sounds like left side carb needle and seat is not holding maybe there something keeping it from seating something got bent piece of something in there sticking maybe. you could take the bowl off flip the carb with fuel line off float up blow it it see if you hear any air leaking past needle and...
Please keep us updated on the different springs you try . I think I'm leaning on trying a helix something in the 58- 62 start range with the stock secondary spring. Our sleds the clutching is the same I got about 350 miles on mine so far seeing 8300 rpm in ethanol mode running 87 ethanol gas...
That 62/42.46 helix angle is what i used to run in my 600 edge sled I liked it a lot. what is ( loss motor).
Thank you very much for your input Keith B.
I have a 2017 XCR 600 has anyone tried a different helix on a 600 in AXYS sleds for trail riding. The stock helix is a 48/42.36 was thinking of trying a 52/42.46 with the stock secondary spring. which the stock secondary spring is (black/purple 160-260). Seems strange it uses a higher secondary...
looks like a torque arm I had one on my edge sled the bracket bolts on were the starter would bolt . then the swivel mounts to the bulk head forward of the engine. looks like yours is broke if you can get your hand down there you might be able to find where the other end mounts. they work very...
with the 27 degree primary you said makes it upshift quicker. Is this why the newer axys sleds seam to have a lower initial start angle helix that older sleds of the same size engine. example 600 edge 58-42.36 vs axys 600 48-42.36 . has anyone tried a taller initial angle helix on a 600 axys...
Hello got a new 2017 XCR 600 seems like there's a lot more rolling resistance than my ole edge sled. Got about 300 mile on it love the axys chassis. but after it gets broken in good how loose can you run these tracks on these. I know you have to support rear off running boards not bumper...
