Anyone running a Garmin Nuvi 1450 on their ride? Thoughts? Pros/cons? I can get one for next to nothing and thought it might be a good GPS setup for the sled. (Axys Pro X 800) Any input is appreciated. Also if there is a better GPS setup that anyone would recommned? Mostly riding in...
What area do you need to relieve on he upper case? (I'm thinking rod clearance or skirt) What about power valves, do those need modifications?

So the vendor messed up and shipped me the wrong part even after being on back order. I received the 50-44-F---52-46-F ER TSS-04 HELIX (LW420766 ) instead of the 48/44 F (LW420767). Is it even worth trying this setup (50/44) or should I deal with returning it? Season is over for me so I can't...
I've done the checks that Brock mentions but I will be verifying them again prior to running.
Dr. Notadoo, this is the first I've heard of using a timing key on these engines. I've done it on other sleds and it makes sense, just haven't heard of anyone using it yet here. I'm guessing you've...
I've been scouring the clutching threads, especially focusing on the Pro X setups, and think I've found a good starting point. Clutches are due for a good cleaning and I will also be doing the alignment procedure from this site and figured I'd drop a few goodies while I was in there. Looking...
Maybe I missed this reviewing the posts, but any chance your fuel pump isn't performing properly? I saw a previous post about cleaning your pick up sock/filter and maybe now the pump has some internal damage.

Anyone experiment with a method to turn up the electronic oil pump on the 2015 and newer sleds?
Also any thoughts on adding or relocating some of the oil injection ports? Possibly to the intake area or a different location in the case...
I know many have posted that they are happy with the...
Problem Solved! Turns out there were two things going on. DET sensor was not torqued properly. Should be 168 in/lbs, not finger tight. Thank you mr. dealership for not checking this. Second issue was dirty/plugged fuel filter sock. Thanks to all for your input.
Anyone know what the resistance tolerance would be for the det sensor at rest? I see the manual shows it at 4.87 mOhms and I'm getting about 5.02. The shop is about 50 degrees F.

It was a dealer demo so it's considered new but it had 800 miles on it when I got it. I doubt the dealer himself installed a pipe mod but you never know. Something I will look into. Thanks

That has been part of the problem I think. It won't trip unless the engine is under load. The first dealer was able to trip it on the second trip in but there is not any snow for the dealer to test now.

So, I had it at a different dealer to go through all the troubleshooting again and be sure the first dealer didn't miss something. Well nothing was resolved. The service manager who I've been working with said the Polaris technician told his mechanic that "these sleds need to be pounded hard"...
