Absolutely. Millinocket isnt too far from where I go. It's like 50 miles or so to the Houlton exit and then another hour and a half to my house once off exit. Can be done in 2 hours if hauling ass tho. Can always ride up by sled too...very easy ride by sled.

Why does it take you 10 hours to get up there? I make it from my house in Blackstone to my house in Stockholm in roughly 7-7.5 hours tops. Sometimes can make it in 6.5 if I'm really hauling ass and roads are good. Usually leave at 1am and on trails by 9am. Don't think Scott has a truck to...

Scott, you're more than welcome to come up whenever. Going to warn ya tho, once you get a taste of The County trails, you won't want to ride anywhere else. Yes, they are that good!

Mostly ride trail, but do quite a bit of cross country style riding as well. I am very familiar with the upper crown area and sometimes dip off the regular trail and take fields and woods to cross over to other trails vs taking the trail itself.

Yeah it's a commitment, but it's always a safe bet for good snow. Millinocket was questionable at best a lot last season. Been riding the state of Maine for about 10 years and I just find its worth it for the extra hour and a half drive cuz I look at it like "I'm driving this far, what's a...

If you're going to Millinocket, no worries about breaking sled in. Just get on the trails and HAMMER it. I broke mine in this past March and just used a lot of varied throttle with a lot of wot bursts. Couldn't care less about the belt, as the break in of motor is more important to me. I...

    Oil price$

I was just being sarcastic...I've always had decent luck (thus far, knock wood!) with the regular VES oil. I plan on getting another Axys for the wife soon, so I plan on running both sleds with oil I have. I usually do 4-5k miles a season, so oil goes quick and gets costly. Glad I have a...

Nice man. The Moosehead area has a lot of nice riding. Especially when there's good snow. Haven't ridden there in years cuz I always go up to the County now. Wouldn't mind riding the Moosehead region again sometime though.

    Oil price$

Simple answer... Stick to VES oil and be done with it. It has a ton of engineering in it and is designed for these motors specifically. And it's cheaper than the Redline by a few bucks. You can usually get a dealer to sell you in bulk by bringing empty gallon jugs for around $40/gallon. I...

I register in Maine. I blew up one of my sleds March 3rd and a few hours after they happened I bought this Pro S. Picked it up following morning. I ended up doing about 1500 miles on it till I put her away and was done for season. Where do you plan on riding? If you're planning on...

Cool man. I ride up in Aroostook County. Long drive but worth it in every aspect. If I can ride this season to the full extent, I expect I'll do about 4-5k miles. So far I have added a heated windshield bag, the sport rack and bag, ice scratchers, heated shield cord kit, ultimate bumper...

Yeah. Not far at all. I'm getting the itch now that colder weather is here. Transitioning from motorcycle season to sled season, although I won't be riding for a while cuz I just had major knee surgery. I'm hoping to be able to ride mid January tho. Where do you ride? Have you done any...
