So I ran a 140 200 with the 50 44 sled ran really good but when I took my clutch off tonight too put the tied on you could see it was slipping, so if your a fat ass like me with studs id go stiffer, just my findings not bitching.

I'm running 23 40
My helix finally showed for the tied so gonna run that all next week in the u.p.

If I was sticking with tss 04 I'd go 140 220 as it looks like it's slipping a tad in the mid too full shift of the clutch.

In the Tied I put in a 155 222 so we will see how it does .

I'm a 155lbs rider with studs. I have the 140/200 spring in now with the derlin washer. Should I go to the 140/220 spring? I have that spring on hand

I would run it for 100 miles or so , you deffinetly tell after that if it's working or not , my clutch had a black haze too it , so yea I was slipping the belt in the secondary, primary was spotless. ..

Where you guys getting these Delron washers and are you placing them sheave side or helix side (outside)? Thanks!
I put 1 on each end of the spring , the tss04 needs them more so then the tied , any dealer should be able too get them, mine came from Parts Unlimited.

I'd switch it out and go a little stiffer , make sure you clean the sheaves 2 !
