Just wanted to show a coupe pictures of some of the things I'm working on. Got that that bug for hookin and bookin. Been riding for a long time, but when I got on an axys I realized how amazing they are from the factory and the potential to make them even better for your own style. I snow checked a 16 axys 800 pro s switchback, orange burst. Have 400 miles on it and joined the forum not too long ago. Been reading a lot and posting threads and talking to brock, doc, and everyone else who helped with any advice. My mods are: IndyDan machine and balance with 11 series weights and cutting the heel to match the 10 series heel, 120/310 spring, gates belt, Team Tied with 68-63 and 66-61, installed the 155/222 spring tonight, Installed 1.630 triggers, 144 count. Also I'm changing my color scheme a bit, liked the orange but in my opinion it was too much orange. Also the orange is a little creamy in the sun. I painted the hood and console black with urethane clear coat. Letting it sit for a week so it's 100% cured. Just need to order the white stickers and the Polaris star emblem. Also want to order the jaws pipe. I'll post some more pictures as more parts come in. Hope you enjoy the color combo Sled2

Looks like a solid build so far. I think you will be very happy! Think SNOW!

Assembled the hood and console. Hardest part was being really cautious not to scratch it! Really like the custom color combo. Just need the Polaris star and the two white tickets. A local decals and design gave me some white vinyl. I'll make the stickers because the ones from Polaris are $25 each!! Also just got a call from Dan. Shipped the clutch today. Should be here in a couple days for pictures SmileyFaces7

Got my clutch today. Looks great. Dan is very particular because I am very particular too. Cleaned the taper and sprayed a little wd40 inside the little space(brass plate/crank) to make sure the seal doesn't get dry. Engagement is a little too high from the shaved heel from the 11-68 to match the 10 heel. Shouldn't be a problem though as Brock adviced me to get a 110/290.

Can you measure how thick your glide washer is that Dan supplied?

Update, talked to John at indy specialty, he has to use a dremel on the webbing because with the cut heel the weight was hitting the webbing.

That right there tells me they cut the heel a little to much as 10 series don't touch webbing.

Don't panic though, use a 0.040" glide washer or take the one out supplied with a 110/290 primary spring and that will get your engagement down

Sorry about that, misunderstood, so stock axys (100/275) spring with glide washer or 110/290 with no glide washer?

Try it with no glide washer on both springs and see your engagement?

IF I FALLOW THIS RIGHT ..A 10 SERIES WEIGHT IS NOT TUCKED..11 SERIES ARE. SO EITHER THE WEIGHT IS CUT ON THE HEAL OR THE WEIGHT STOP IN THE MOVABLE SHEEVE WAS MACHINED OUT A BIT TO DROP THE TIP. EITHER WAY YOUR GOING TO LIMITED ON SPRING SELECTION. WHAT IS THE ENGAGEMENT RPM ANYWAYS?

The 11's have a taller heel. Takes up more belt clearance and lowers engagement. Sounds like Indy Dan cut those 11's close to what a 10-64m heel height is
