SSI pipe mod

Since the 16's are about 3% leaner then the 15's.
If u have the dtr map and running in non ethanol mode. Add the value of +2 at 60% throttle from 6500-7200 rpm . Run in non ethanol mode

It needs fuel and the correct octane.
Try this.

Yesterday I ran my Pro-S 800 for its 2nd trial run with the SSI Pipe Mod & DTR PCV w/ fuel and timing mapping for another 150 milerun in temperatures at a quite chilly ZERO in the morning and it rose to 20 degrees by the days end. I'm happy to report that she had another day of flawless performance. This is what I paid for and I'm very happy that ONE of the sleds is running as it should with this set up.

So now I need to figure out where the SKS is failing. "Kind of hard to put the stock pipe back on when you have modded it." Something to think about for you guys on the fence thinking about doing the Pipe Mod.

1. Does the PCV overide the ECU that is trying to run the sled through its rich break in period?
2. Brock says to try raising 2% in the 6500-7200 range which sounds like it may be a good idea. But to then switch to NON ETH mode from ETH mode?? Wouldn't that just lean it back out again? I thought the ETH mode was richer than NON ETH?

Post a pic of your maps in fuel and ignition.
Me and doc can help and show you guys.

It is richer in ethanol mode.

Yeah I think so maybe need to add fuel in lower throttle positions good idea. When I hooked mine to digital wrench mechanic said it started in 7600 and built up until throws max det

DONT FORGET THESE TESTS WERE DONE ON MY 2015 800,WITH NO DET EVER. THE 2016S ARE LEANER BY 3% NOT SURE WHERE TO BE HONEST. SOME FUEL ADDING IN MID RANGE WILL BE NECESSARY AND EVEN WOT IF YOUR HAVING DET.YOUR NOT GOING TO LOOSE ANY POWER THAT YOUR GOING TO NOTICE BY ADDING FUEL.THE 2016 IS TO LEAN TO START WITH. ALSO THE TEST IS DONE AT WOT ,SO ALL THE OTHER THROTTLE ANGLES WERE NOT LOADED TO SEE IF THERE WERE LEAN SPOTS. I MENTIONED TO JIM BEFORE WE STARTED THE TESTING THAT MY SKS DET IN NONETH MODE DURING BREAK IN WHEN ITS ADDING EVEN MORE FUEL WITH A PIPE MOD INSTALLED. I SWITCHED TO ETH MODE AND NEVER DID IT AGAIN. THIS IS WHY WE DID ALL THE TESTING IN ETH MODE CUZ WE FIGURED THIS FUEL MODE WAS THE SAFEIST . SOME OF YOU THAT ARE HAVING ISSUES NEED TO PINPOINT THE RPM AREA AND THROTTLE ANGLE. WERE NOT TALKING ABOUT A TON OF FUEL HERE,JUST A COUPLE %. ALL THESE SLEDS ARE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT IN RESPECT TO FUEL CONTROL, MOSTLY THE TPS INPUT. THIS IS WHY SOME ARE HAVING DET AND OTHERS ARE NOT, JUST NEEDS A LITTLE TWEEK..

WE HAVE NO RIDABLE SNOW HERE SO I CAN ONLY GUESS HERE.. 6500-8000 RPM AND THROTTLE ANGLES ON PCV 60-80% ADD 2-3% FUEL. AND IF YOUR DET ON THE DTR MAP AT 100% PULL 1 DEGREE TIMING FROM EVERY # IN THAT COLUMN.

Thanks I will try it. Yeah I can understand how difficult it would be to tune all throttle ranges need to use auto tune don't know if it even works for these

This is a 16 in non ethanol mode. In the bsfc's. You can see were it's a little lean from 6500-7100 just like I said. Add fuel here .
Just so you know,no 2 sleds are exactly the same

and where it take away fuel -1 7500-7750, -3 7750-8000 I can see it is rich in that table and why you did that. But Maybe I should just change those to 0 also? Seems to be where I am starting to DET

JUST REMEMBER THAT IS ONLY THE 100% COLUMN, YOU NEED TO CONSIDER 60-80% TOO FOR THE PEOPLE THAT GET DET AT THROTTLE ANGLES LESS THEN 100%.

if it were mine id put the timeing back at zero and run the bitch !!

I have a question. I have the bikeman pipe on my sled with no pcv and have never thrown a DET code in 500 miles. Now I just installed my pcv with the dtr ssi pipe mod tune. Do you think the tune will be to rich since I never even thru a code without a tuner and hado a pipe on?
