    Low coolant temp

It sounds like dirty exhaust valves to me, seen it a bunch of times

    New issues after removing thermostat

Don't understand what you did with your thermostat exactly but regardless, coolant would have nothing to do with your sled running. I would suggest you check your kill switch, then use spare plugs and check for spark.

No simply remove it and bolt the cap back on.

    2018 Switchback 800 always overheating

Just simply remove the thermostat and try riding it. That will tell you pretty quick. Riding with no thermostat will not harm your machine in any way, I promise.. If your machine runs fine, test your thermostat by putting it in boiling water and watch for it to open.

Sled hard to start, Can I set my TPS myself 2015 800 Switch

It was the SSI Durability kit with Wiseco Pistons. less than 2000 miles. I put 8000 on the original Polaris ones and only changes them because i thought is was time. They looked great when I took them out.

Sled hard to start, Can I set my TPS myself 2015 800 Switch

Thanks Plusman, I finally got around to looking deeper, ran a compression test. 124 Mag side 20 PTO side. SO much for a durability kit. Really wish I hadn't done my top end as preventative maintenance. Ugh. Gonna put Polaris back into it.

Sled hard to start, Can I set my TPS myself 2015 800 Switch

This week, the sled has needed some throttle to start, and won't go into reverse, just stalls. This sounds to me like a TPS problem I had on one of my earlier sleds. Don't remember which one, but I was able to build a TPS testing tool and fixed that problem. Can I still do that?

    OVERDRIVE P85 PRIMARY

When send the clutch out for machining, are we to ask for 0.0020"-0.0040" to be shaved off and that should do it? Is it always 0.0020"-0.0040" or is there a specific way to measure what is required?

    Is honing still required?

I fully understand the rationale behind honing, howeve I question its requirement with today's nikasil cylinders? The last 2 top ends I have done, the cylinders still had cross hatching present, so is it still necessary, what's you thoughts?

    2015 800 ho piston

Brock, I picked up my current SB last August (bought it from Camoplast, now Camso) It had just under 6000miles when I bought it, and I was torn with what to do, since it still had some warranty left. I decided to just give the sled a good once over, and the compression was Very good...
