He's doing both, 120/310 and im not sure on the other. I have a 155/ 222 if he wants to try that.

Thanks for all the tips, cant wait to run with my buddy who thinks changing springs will do the same as the gear change. Winter is a little slow to start over here in new England but im ready. Only thing I need to figure out is the cutler weights and belt clearance.

Hey doc n, or bigfuse or brock or anybody running 1.74, is the dogleg too much for aggressive riding? Have any of you broke a chain??

Doc you quote at the end that you wouldn't buy gear and chain. Where you headed with that?

How critical is the dog leg? Book says 1/2" for the 1.74, Is that a week spot??

You guys know what the stock secondary spring rate is? I have a number of 7043063 but have seen two charts with different rates.

When you kick the ass of a quad around in a corner requires a lower gear. Just saying. RD do you have the service manual?? I could use some torque values till mine comes in. I guess all involved, clutch cover, helix, gear, chaincase cover, did I miss any? If you can thanks.

Was it installed by itself or had you done other mods to see if it was a noticeable difference?
