Pipe shoot out dec 22

I'm almost

I'm almost positive the pcv can hold 2 maps and they sell a switch that allows you to toggle back an forth between maps. So if this holds true you could go from no pipe tune then spring on a pipe and flip switch to pipe tune. or from say a 1000 ft race tune to a very trail friendly tune. I want to say I guy I used to ride Harley with had pcv with switch and one tune was for riding normal and the other was for nitrous in case he got rowdy. Lol
Ok, I subscribed to dtr and will verify with him. At that point can remap when I get a pipe. Thx Lid

A Power Commander intercepts the oem map and then sends out whatever parameter's you put into it. It doesn't delete the OEM map it overrides it at the rpm range and throttle position you select.. If you use a PC V you will have a choice of only 2 maps, of any type you want. You need a toggle switch to select which one. Map 1 or map 2. What map you call 1 or 2 doesn't matter. One can be a fast trail one can be a hot race. Or one can be any map you want. On the other you can put all 0's in the fields which then actually allows you to be stock on that switch position. With the toggle switch you can instantly switch between your 2 maps. This is a good way to make comparisons between 2 different maps, or between 1 map to the oem map.

For what it is worth, when using a PC V with 2 maps, useing the ethanol and non ethanol modes on each gives you 4 different maps.

Man, with all the choices out there, I would be pulled off to the side switching maps more than I would be riding!! LOL

No need to pull over rabbi, just flip the toggle switch. To change ethanol mode I think you at least have to hold the brake lever slightly so the brake light comes on completing the circuit.
