Problem solved, had the main harness disconnected and never plug it back together. (Feeling dumb now...lol)
Still would like a suggestion on replacement battery.
2016 Rush Pro S - Last weekend sled produced a low voltage indicator on the display screen. Rode 3 days no issue. Still have original battery so figured I may be due for a replacement.
Today, went to start sled and dead using the key. Pull started the sled and notice that the headlight and...
Wondering how often you guys replace the boogie wheel bearings in the skid. I have 4,000 miles on mine and will be replacing them all this before this season. Do they last longer or are you guys removing the seal and adding grease each season?
I pulled the dust seal on one apart and it was too...
They are expensive but I've always had good luck with the life of a Polaris belt. Got almost 4,000 miles on my last one. I'm sure other are good as well. I did run a Gates carbon fiber on my Yamaha Viper and like it. When they break there is no string, just pieces so each to clean up and swap out.
Pulling my skid, seems one bit of advice would be that you shouldn't try to lift the rear of the sled from the rear bumper, (as you would on most other style sleds) because of that odd flex point pulling up on the rear bumper moves/put pressure on the attachment point of the two bolts that mount...
So, coming back to this. I don't actually have an issue with the snow flap but the point at which it mounts to the grab bar keeps getting pulled out. I've replaced with larger rivets but when I back up it catches and pulls on that rivet and loosens it after a couple times then breaks. A that...
Received an official email response from Polaris today regarding why a 650 needs exhaust valves cleaned and an 850 does not. They said there is a misprint in the owners manual and that both the 650/850 do not require exhaust valve cleanings. Next update to manual will have this update...
Did this break from basic trail riding or were you ditch banging or jumping? I have 1,500 miles on mine with no break but I sometimes wonder after catching the surprise bump in the trail if the suspension holds up on big hits.
Agree - I was looking for a technical answer on why a 650 should be cleaned but yet nothing about an 850 being cleaned. Engine architecture is basically same. I've logged a ticket with Polaris to get a technical answer "if one exists", but I suspect cleaning the 850 makes sense to me.
So I hate the snow flap on the Axys chassis. It runs too close the ground and often bottoms out while unloading and hitting mogules. I've had to replace the rivet that holds it up several times and now the tap has broke off.
Anyone have a good fix beyond a bunjee cord. Guess I could bolt it on...
Great discussion. So here is a follow-up question.
My manual for the 2021 850 does not reference anything about cleaning exhaust valves on the 850. As mentioned earlier in the post, the 850's are electrically controlled vs. vacuum controlled. My manual does say for the 650 to clean exhaust...

Well guys, I found some information to share. I'm told that any oil residue seen in the belly pan from the Exhaust solenoid drain is likely related to an adjustment required on how much oil is injected related to throttle position. I will caution that I...
3,700 miles and belt broke yesterday on the trail. I thought I may get through the season but going forward I will replace at 3,000 miles.
Belt looked great but no way to know if internally it’s about to let loose.
I'm in the process of cleaning the exhaust valves on the 600 Rush. They were overdue and a bit sticky with build up.
I noticed some oil residue in the bottom of the engine compartment. There are hoses connected to the exhaust valves that lead to the solenoid and then there is a drain tube...
